Some Mitsubishi and other car's USB ports do not output enough power for the ottocast, particularly for the powerful Picasou models.  A suitable power supply of 2.1amp or higher with a power injector cable may required for Mitsubishi vehcles and possibly other makes or models to give the ottocast enough power to function. We have found it's a mixed bag, as to whether you need it or not, so if you're having power supply issues, you may need to purchase a Y cable and this charger.
